If you want to return your jewelry, you will receive store credit that allows you to choose another item from our collection or receive a gift card. Only silver jewelry without gemstones can be returned within 14 days and must meet our return conditions. You can find these conditions under 'Information about Ordering.' Please read the return conditions before placing an order.

Please send an email to heycindysonne@gmail.com with your request, and we will advise you on how to proceed. We are happy to offer you the option to exchange a silver item for store credit or a replacement item from www.cindysonne.com within fourteen (14) days of delivery. It is not possible to return gold or gold vermeil products or jewelry that contains gemstones. The item must be unworn, in perfect condition, and returned in the original packaging for the return to be processed. Items purchased during our annual sale are considered discounted items and are not eligible for exchange, store credit, or return. Engraved items are not eligible for exchange or return. We cannot accept returns for custom-made jewelry and solid gold items.

Returns must be shipped within 14 days of the item's delivery date, and the return sender is responsible for any additional shipping and customs fees. We strongly recommend sending your order back with registered mail. After these 14 days, we can no longer accept items for return. Please note: we are not liable for loss or damage during the shipping of returned goods. We cannot refund international customs duties and taxes. For more information on reclaiming international customs duties and taxes, please contact your local customs office.

Cindy Sonne Jewelry will only cover the shipping costs incurred when returning the product if the return is due to an error on our part. The customer is responsible for providing the correct address during checkout on www.cindysonne.com. If the address is incorrect due to a customer error and the package is returned to Cindy Sonne Jewelry, the additional shipping costs will be charged to the customer.

Repairs
We repair or replace defective items free of charge within 3 months of purchase. Please contact heycindysonne@gmail.com and include your name, order number, and a photo of the damage in the email. If the item has been damaged by the customer, charges will apply for this service. Please contact heycindysonne@gmail.com and we will provide a quote for the repair costs. We reserve the right to refuse unreasonable repairs.

We often receive questions about the difference between vermeil gold and gold-plated jewelry. The difference lies in quality and durability. Gold-plated pieces have a thin layer of gold, between 1 and 2 microns, over a base of brass, steel, or similar materials. While these pieces are budget-friendly, they often lack the durability and refinement that we strive for in our designs. Our jewelry, on the other hand, is made with a thicker layer of 3 microns of 14K gold applied to sterling silver. The thickness of the gold layer and the silver base make it vermeil gold. This results in durable pieces that mimic the beauty of solid gold. While the plating may show signs of wear over time, we offer a re-plating service for restoration. In particular, 14k vermeil gold necklaces and earrings can last for years. The gold layer is 100 times thicker than that of gold-plated jewelry. Please note that the gold layer on rings wears down more quickly with intensive use. That’s why we offer a re-plating service.
